The dedicated members of the school police department help to provide the best learning environment for our children by ensuring our campuses are safe and secure.

We have a Community Notification Service designed to deliver important and timely information to our parents and school staff.

This notification service, called “Nixle ”, uses the latest Internet and web-based technology to deliver emergency messages, alerts and community event information in a timely manner.

The Nixle service delivers trustworthy and important neighborhood-level public safety and community event notifications directly from the school police department. This information is instantly sent to users by cell phone text message, email message, and/or via the web. There is NO Spam or Advertising and user information is entirely confidential.

Nixle is available at no cost, however if you choose to receive text messages, standard text message rates may apply (check with your cell phone provider for more details).

The Baldwin Park Unified School District allows concerned citizens of the community to provide ANONYMOUS and CONFIDENTIAL information to the school police department about threats or school related crimes.

You may inform the school police department about crime information or about a threat against any of our schools by calling the Crime Tip Hotline at (626) 856-4-TIP or by clicking

All information may be provided anonymously 24-hours-a-day. The information will be forwarded to school police officers for follow-up. No employee of the police department will call you unless you indicate that you wish to discuss the matter.
