Take the GED Exam At BPACE

1. GET A BETTER JOB

The GED is accepted nation-wide by employers who accept a high school diploma.

•98% of colleges and universities accept the GED Transcript for admission.

• 96% of employers accept the GED for hiring and promotion eligibility.

2. GO TO COLLEGE

The GED is accepted as the equivalent of a High School Diploma at community colleges and universities.

3. GET ADVANCED TRAINING

Train for a career and /or pursue a college degree in your desired field.

 

Enroll in the GED Preparation Program and then take your GED Exam at BPACE. 

High School Equivalency Tests

High School Equivalency Test Options

BPACE offers two California State Board of Education approved the High School Equivalency Tests:

 

  1. The GED (General Education Development Exam) and the
  2. HiSET® (High School Equivalency Test).

 

Both tests can be used to earn a California High School Equivalency Certificate. 

 

A California High School Equivalency Certificate is accepted nation-wide by employers, community colleges and career/technical schools as the equivalent of a high school diploma. It also meets the high school diploma requirements for financial aid for college.

Enroll in a Test Preparation Class, and take your GED/HiSET Exam at BPACE. Contact the counseling offices to make an appointment to see a counselor.

GED Tests

General Educational Development (GED)  tests are a group of four subject tests which, when passed, provide certification that the test taker has high school level academic skills. Students passing all four tests will earn a California Certificate of High School Equivalency,

 

Register for the GED online at www.ged.com.

 

BPACE is an official Pearson VUE GED Testing Center. The Testing Center Hours are:
Monday-Thursday
7:45a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

HiSET® Exam

Skills and knowledge are measured in five core areas that make up the five HiSET subtests:

  • Language Arts – Reading
  • Language Arts – Writing
  • Mathematics
  • Science
  • Social Studies

Graduation

Students who pass the GED/HiSET Exam at BPACE also participate in the cap-and-gown graduation at the end of the school year.
